Joseph Goebbels, head of Nazi Germany’s Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, created an elaborate and deceptive system through mediums of communication to diffuse information to gain German public and military support. Furthermore, it was crucial to the Nazi Party’s rise prior to the war and responsible for the retention of public support.
